Latino Mental Health Program
Through a the Fulton County Health and Human Services Grant, the
Clinic for Education, Treatment and Prevention of Addiction, Inc.
(CETPA) will serve 70 Spanish speaking patients with mental
health issues and their families in Fulton County during the grant
year.
Each client will receive at least an evaluation and, if deemed
appropriate, he or she will receive a minimum of six individual/family
sessions.

Services provided to program participants include linguistic and culturally appropriate
mental health education, evaluation, individual therapy, family therapy, case management
and referral.
- Education: Fulton County residents will receive community-wide education
programs delivered in the community. These programs will be delivered in community
based settings in the evenings to ensure participation.
- Evaluation: In person mental health evaluation to determine mental health
status and confirm or rule out diagnosis.
- Individual therapy: Fifty minute sessions for clients who qualify for this
level of service. A minimum of six (6) sessions will be offered with a case management
review prior to extension of sessions.
- Family therapy: Fifty minute sessions for families of a mental health
consumer. Number of sessions will be determined based on family need.
- Case Management: A review of client needs with clinical team during
treatment and prior to discharge.
- Referral Services: Referral to other services not provided by us or to
compliment our services.
Counseling services will be available Monday though Friday between 10 am and 7 pm. Community
education services will be held in the evenings or weekends to ensure participation.
The Latino Mental Health Program will be based in Sandy Springs. It will serve the entire
county from north to south Fulton county.
